Animals at central park zoo

This is Gus, Central Park Zoo's polar bear, hanging out with some penguin friends. Of course they are toasting marshmallows, because I am not sure there is anything better than that when the zoo is closed. Looks cold too. Unfortunately Gus is a recent widower. His old lady was name Ida and this piece is dedicated to her.

Moving

Sorry I haven't up but life has been THE CRAZY for about a month now. Quick update:
I am now living in NEW YORK CITY. Yup, that's right! I transferred to Parsons on a very last minute offer from their illustration dept! I am missing friends in Baltimore, but the world is a big place and keeping old connections while making new ones is important to me. You may ask, why New York? Why now? Well I have thought about this a lot and at this point in my life making connections with Illustrators and Film-makers has become essential in my work. If not now, when?? So to get a jump start on jobs and artistic happenings, I have moved to possibly the most inspiring and happening place in the world. Who knows what will happen? So far everything is good!

I have started a couple new projects that are currently on their own sites, but I will continue to post work here, and hopefully get a website up soon! One project I am very excited about is my Illustrating for Craigslist project on Tumblr! Go check it out!

I will post those works here as well, but they really are fun to see on their own blog. So here's a teaser of that:
