You know that piece that you are just so proud of?

This is that piece.
It measure 36 by 28 inches and is done on a canvas i stretched myself. This is my "first" painting. First time I stretched a canvas, first time I found my style in oil painting and first time in painting I have really liked one of my own pieces.
I created the piece based off a mood, i started with the girl and, while listening to a lot of christmas music) the scene was created before me. I had a lot of fun doing the snow. Imay touch this painting up in the future, maybe not, I'm just so proud of it right now. :)

drawing final

For my drawing final I made 34 kites that fit int a series of elating moments in my life. I chose to focus on happy moments and edit out the sadness in my life in an exploration of the moments of my childhood I want to hold onto, and the aspects of being a child that I hold close. My life was not full of happy moments all the time but the majority was a joyful wonderful experience and I would'nt trade it for anything. The piece is also a materialization of some of my feeling of homesickness.
Here are some highlights from it.

More work

My dodo design for Trader Joes. His three piece outfit comes off like paper doll clothes. The idea was to send out the dodo with flyers from Trader Joes, with a different set of clothing for each month respectively.

two book covers from graphic design, the second "Unaccustomed Earth" is a joint project with Willie Nordstrom
