The assignment was to draw the same object in its environment 40 times on 12x12" sheets. I chose an unplanted tree and drew the tree from the bottom up.

That I forgot about my blog for a bit! But it's okay, I scanned some new artwork! Not the best scanning quality unfortunately, but good enough for now.
I'm exploring collage-ing, something I haven't done since 7th grade, and the interplay between two opposing images. After sorting through many images and trying to pair them together I came up with combinations that tell a story or relay a surreal feeling message.
